The Organisation Founding
The idea of a pan-African education that aims to produce future African leaders in politics and business was created with the vision of an African continental political movement that can unite and shape the future of Africans.
Our leadership concept is based on team spirit and preparation. The postulate is based on the observation that any other event in the world is being prepared except, curiously, the leadership of our nations. For example, whenever a soccer team is about to compete for the World Cup, the players get together, spend time together training, and get to know each other for a while. Similarly, our nations are run by teams called “governments” made up mostly of actors called “ministers”, so we believe Africa’s future and survival in the 21st century largely depends on how we prepare the teams that will take it to global competition. Therefore, we have developed an educational program that builds strong teams with strong players well trained in political and business leadership based on African resources, environment, culture and value system. Our vocation is to prepare the ministers of defence, economy, education and infrastructure, to name but a few, before they are known to the public and appointed to their functions.
Essentially, we believe that as times change, people should also find new methods and ways of doing things that fit their realities. Africa needs a new political and economic system for the rest of the 21st century, therefore, there is also a need for a new education that will sensitize people to their political and economic challenges and also provide them with the skills necessary to navigate their realities.
The Free-Minded Academy has since become a hub of great African minds producing tailored and relevant training for all Africans, on the continent and abroad. We have formed a strategic team made up of Africans from all parts of Africa and the Diaspora. This dynamic team has been a center of research on the practical methods and skills that can produce leaders in Africa in business and politics.

The Free-Minded Academy is a pan-African academy for future African leaders in politics and business. Currently, Free-Minded Aademy is registered as a non-profit organization with the South African, Ghanaian, Nigerian and Sierra Leonean Departments of Social Development.
